DND - The Crooked Moon

The Crooked Moon is a folk-horror campaign setting and adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. The story takes place in a remote land where ancient traditions still hold power, superstition shapes daily life, and forgotten evils linger just beyond the safety of the hearthfire.

The campaign focuses on a collection of isolated communities struggling against strange curses, unnatural phenomena, and the consequences of bargains made long ago. As the characters travel between settlements, they uncover unsettling local legends, investigate mysterious occurrences, and confront creatures drawn from folklore and nightmare.

Unlike traditional fantasy adventures centered on kingdoms and warfare, The Crooked Moon emphasizes rural settings, local myths, and the tension between civilization and the untamed wilderness. Many of the threats originate from ancient customs, broken taboos, forgotten gods, and powers that exist beyond mortal understanding.
