It was Feb 1, 2025. The doors had finally closed on the only LGS in the immediate area.  The gaming community was disappointed and angry. The four of us — just a bunch of friends who met up every week to sling spells in Magic: The Gathering — met on a dreary evening, when hope was low.

But we made a bold decision: we’d build something new.  The local gaming community is amazing and we wanted to create a space to honor that.  That spark of friendship, fun, and fantasy became Kraken’s Keep — your new home for Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Manga, and tabletop gaming here on the OBX.
